The Betting Protocols in Ultimate Texas Hold'em

Perhaps one of the most important parts of playing the Ultimate Texas Hold'em poker is making the right betting decisions and playing with correct poker hand plays in order to win the game. However, every game of poker also has a betting protocol which is just as important to follow by the player.

The betting protocol involves the proper procedures and manners from which the betting activities in Ultimate Texas Hold'em are carried out. With a dealer to lead the game, every player must also project a more educated manner when participating on the betting round.

Such attitude will reflect how educated and well informed a gambler is which is one of the winning attitudes to observe while playing the Ultimate Texas Hold'em poker. Learning the betting protocol in Ultimate Texas Hold'em will also entail understanding the basic rules involved in order to be on the right track of the game.

The players must wait until the dealer is done giving them their 2 cards before picking the cards on the table. On the first betting round the player must keep in mind that they should check or make a play wager that must be at least 3 or 4 times the amount of their ante wager.

Once the players are done making a bet, the dealer then proceed to deal the first community cards of three. The player should know that at this level they need to make a play wager twice the amount of the ante. If they are not too confident with their hands they can opt to check which is free.

The last two community cards are then dealt revealing a total of 5 community cards to be shared by the players. At this point the player must either bet an equal amount of their ante or decide to fold which removes their right to qualify to win the play, ante and blind wagers at stake.

Players who decide to fold must observe the proper protocol of placing their cards face down on the table. The dealer will then collect their ante and blind wagers including their trips wager if any together with the player's cards.

The dealer then counts the cards individually then places the cards into the discard rack. The dealer will then turn over all of the remaining player's cards on the table. The dealer's cards and each of the player's cards will be combined with three community cards on the table to make the best possible poker hand.

Each player should keep all their cards visible on the table and must not in any way be removed away from table. Players are also prohibited to show and exchange cards and to communicate with each other during the betting rounds.

Observing these simple betting protocols while playing the Ultimate Texas Hold'em poker will help a player observe proper conduct throughout playing the game.
