The Layout Game of Ultimate Texas Hold'em Poker

Another game variant of poker hits the casino floor in the form of the Ultimate Texas Hold'em Poker. It is the new table game of Texas Hold'em that was designed by Roger Snow, the table game products manager of ShuffleMaster.

ShuffleMaster is a company supplying gaming equipments and specializes on developing, manufacturing and marketing technology based innovations for the casino industry. Among their products are card shufflers, table game equipments, slot machines, table games and other related gaming software.

The Ultimate Texas Hold'em is a poker variety where the players will be playing on a blackjack styled table. Several players can play on the table but they will not be playing against each other but only against the dealer. This gives the game of Ultimate Texas Hold'em a different game layout.

The initial playing layout of Ultimate Texas Hold'em consists of making an equal bet on both the ante and the blind on the layout circle. An extra layout is offered for the player and the dealer to make an extra or additional side bet on the area on the table that is marked trips.

The player and the dealer get two hole cards each and the game consists of three betting rounds where the player gets to place a bet three times or four times the amount of the ante on the first betting round, twice the ante on the second betting round and an amount equal to the ante on the third betting round. A total of five community cards will be dealt for the player and the dealer to share.

With this betting layout of Ultimate Texas Hold'em the player is able to make more bets earlier and the player just before the flop can bet as much as three to four times the amount of the ante. Upon seeing the flop the player gets the chance to make a bet twice the amount of their ante bet and after the river they can bet one more time in the amount equal to their ante.

The strategy most poker players employ with Ultimate Texas Hold'em is to bet four times on pre-flop upon playing with hand values of unsuited king and 8 or higher, unsuited king and 5 or higher, suited king with any card value, suited jack with 8 or higher, suited queen with 6 or higher and any pair of three or higher value.

The pay table layout will reveal that the highest payout is obtained from a royal flush which pays a player 500 to 1 on the blind bet and 50 to 1 on the trip bet. Players are guided accordingly by referring to the Ultimate Texas Hold'em Poker pay table layout.
